November Holiday Closure for COSL/Software Depotposted 11/12/09 10:56AMThe Software Depot will be closed for purchased media pick-ups or loaner CD requests/pick-ups from Monday, November 23 through Monday, November 30.
Any requests for loaner CD's and other inquiries sent to the Software Depot during that time, will be acknowledged on Tuesday, December 1.
The on-line order system will be available during this time. Orders will be processed after December 1.
Symantec Newsposted 09/30/09 10:16AMAn update for Symantec EndPoint Protection for Windows has been released. If you have purchased a license for your windows computers, you may go to the current ftp site to download this release: 11.0.5.
This update says it supports Windows Server 2008 R2 and Windows 7
An update for compatibility with Mac OS X 10.6 is not available yet.

Snow Leopard Updateposted 09/3/09 9:49AMIf you are upgrading to Snow Leopard 10.6, from Leopard 10.5, please check out the issues that are cropping up online. If you have installed updates to 10.5, but they have not fully installed, Snow Leopard may freeze your computer.

Apple OSposted 08/28/09 2:09PMSnow Leopard 10.6 has been released and is now available in the Software Depot online order system.
The license is only available for upgrading from Leopard, not Tiger. If you want to upgrade from Tiger, there are some Leopard 10.5 licenses available for purchase.

For those who have been using Vista Ultimate, it will not be part of the volume license available for Windows 7.

Microsoft Changes PerformancePoint Server
posted 04/9/09 11:06AMPer Microsoft: PerformancePoint merging with SharePoint
As of April 1, 2009, this server will no longer be available for purchase. When the next version of Microsoft Office is released, the Monitoring and Analytics capabilities will be included with SharePoint Server Enterprise. Microsoft will continue to support PerformancePoint, including “Service Pack 3” later this year.
