General Information

The Campus Office of Software Licensing (COSL) provides software acquistion and licensing services to the UCSB community.

Our core services are the management of software site-license and volume-purchase agreements, provision of the Software Depot online software purchasing system, coordination with UCOP on strategic purchasing initiatives, and affiliated support for these services.

COSL services are housed within Instructional Computing, which has a long history of providing software licensing service to the campus. You can find us at 1517 Phelps Hall. Contact hours are 8:00 am to 4:00 pm Monday-Friday.
